Everything you need to know about Crochet Camp Yorkshire!

When and where is it!? - It's from the 4th September until the 7th September 2026. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights camping are included in your ticket price. The campsite is near Harrogate and will be announced very soon!
What do I need to bring? - Everything you would take on a usual camping trip, plus some crochet bits and pieces! So you need to bring your own accommodation; tent, caravan, campervan or motorhome. Plus all of your bedding, a chair, food, drink, cooking equipment, toiletries etc etc NOTHING IS PROVIDED regarding the camping side of things!
Can I bring my dog? - Yes! But no dogs that appear on the dangerous dog list, and all dog's must be kept on a lead at all times. Limit of 1 dog per pitch.
Can I bring someone with me even if they don't want to attend the crochet activities? - Yes! Choose them a "companion ticket" when you book your tickets. It gives them access to the site and all of the site facilities, but it doesn't include any of the activities or workshops with the crocheters.
Can I bring my children? - I'm afraid not, we are staying on an adult only campsite so over 16's only.
Can I come on my own? - Of course! We expect that lots of people will be coming alone and that's one of the reasons for the camp, so that we can all get to know each other and make new friends! The itinerary will be fairly busy so there's always something going on so you won't feel stuck on your own and we have some activities lined up to help us all get to know each other (but not in a "tell me a fun fact about yourself" kind of way!)
Will any food or refreshments be provided? - No. We think part of the camping fun is cooking outside and eating together, so our plan is for everyone to prepare their own food and meet at the Camp Gazebo to all eat together. This also helps keep the ticket price down and more affordable. However, there is a Cafe on site which is open on the Saturday serving breakfast and lunch, tea and cake etc.
The camping pitches - we have grass and hardstanding camping pitches available. If you are in a tent you will be on grass, if you are in a vehicle you will be on hardstanding. All of the pitches have access to electric hook up. There is a limit of 2 people per pitch otherwise the site will be too full for the amount of facilities we have available to us. The pitch price is per pitch, not per person, so if you can bring a friend and share a pitch you'll save a few quid! You are welcome to put up awnings at no extra charge. Units allowed are tents, caravans, campervans, motorhomes, tent boxes and car campers.
Can I just come for the day? - possibly! It will depend on how ticket sales go for the entire weekend. As soon as we know the numbers we may be able to release some Sunday tickets nearer the time.
What is included in my ticket price? - 3 nights camping with electric hookup and access to all of the campsite facilities (showers, loos, washing up facilities etc) PLUS a full itinerary of Crochet Camp activities and workshops. There will be at least 2 professional workshops running over the course of the weekend along with social events, a crochet challenge, a group crochet project, games (with prizes!), walks, campfires, and a few more surprises!
How do I get tickets? - Tickets will go on sale very soon (hopefully around May 16th) - make sure you follow our social media pages for the ticket release date and the link to purchase.
